biography

Omer was born on Rehovot.  His first "musical experience" was flute lessons in elementary school, which did not contribute much to him. Over the years his love for music has grown. At first, passively - he knew the top 20 by heart - but at about the age of 15 he fell in love with the world of drums. A dream that began with playing with pencils on books and notebooks became a reality a year later with the first drum set .
Meanwhile the musical taste also changed and he started listening to more advanced music and later to jazz. Army recruitment did not interfere with his progress either. During the holidays he would study with  David rich  (The teacher who influenced him most of all) at the "Metronome" (late) drum school where he also taught later. Omer continued to study and teach drums in along with his agronomy studies in the Faculty of Agriculture and upon completion of his degree he studied for a year at Rimon . He also begins to learn percussion with Avi TSarfati (a real experience).

A year later  At the Abu Gosh Festival  With the vocal eight . That same year he also wrote the book  BASIC RHYTHM PATTERNS   With it he teaches to this day. Since then, Omer has played in various rock and especially jazz bands. The band he founded in 2000,  ZoomOutBand  Continues to perform to this day. Worth noting is the performance in 2003  With Dori Ben Zeev  At the Eilat Jazz Festival . In 2007  he  Appeared  At the Haifa Film Festival . At the same time, he continued his academic studies and completed a master's degree in geoinformatics at Tel Aviv University .
